Lindsey and Oliver's wedding - St Peter's Chapel in Heysham and the Midland Hotel in Morecambe
(Contains 387 photos) Lindsey and Oliver were married on a beautiful spring day at St Peter's chapel in Heysham. There is believed to have been a church on the site from the 7th or 8th Century AD, and some very old parts of the chapel remain. It has a stunning setting for a wedding, looking out over Morecambe Bay towards the Lake District. The wedding reception was at the Midland Hotel in Morecambe - a lovingly restored Art Deco hotel from the 1930s featuring art work by Eric Gill. Both venues are a dream for photographers (and couples getting married!). |

Amy & Jimmy's Wedding at the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal
(Contains 30 photos) Excellent weather, a wonderful setting and a beautiful wedding. Amy and Jimmy's wedding at the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal was a lovely day. Kendal is right on the edge of the Lake District, and the terrace of the room at the Castle Green Hotel where the reception was held looks out over the surrounding hills. The hotel also has some lovely scenic gardens. |
