Empathetic photos

I think one thing that gets overlooked with wedding photography is that you have to have a strong sense of empathy. We are parachuted into some of the most intense, intimate moments of someone’s life, and we have to make the clients feel comfortable and relaxed. You have to be a fun person to be around, without getting in the way too much or taking over.

The Little Moments

The little interactions, moments, emotions etc that can be caught on camera - telling a story not only through a set of images but with individual pictures. It’s addictive! One of my particular strengths is an ability to anticipate and capture these kinds of moments artistically.

There to help

Previous jobs have involved high level event management and planning, plus I’ve now photographed dozens of weddings. As a result I know how to make sure things operate smoothly, and I’m pretty much unflappable! I would never tell you what to do, but I’m very happy to share what I know of how to make a wedding day as enjoyable as possible, which means happy relaxed people for my photographs.
